Painter's Commentary :

I wanna design a griffon as a god of the tropical Civilization like Quetzalcoatl. So I posted the red and green have been trying to give the feeling of the tropics. Pearl of the helmet, I felt I was trying to describe the materials do not look good is a little pity.

I designed it as a riding beast this creature (lets you move players on the battlefield to the village and transportation)

Gorgeous. The colors are just... drinkable. Especially that red. Your feather textures are gorgeous and the tension in the lion's feet are fantastic. Caveats-- I think his barding looks a bit heavy for a flying mount-- particularly at the back of the neck, elbow and shoulder-- and his forelegs are a bit too short/stiff. I think it's the "elbow" area on both of them and I'm not sure if it's the armor helping with that stiffness, but the curve of the wing shape is dragging my eye back up to the saddle.

I REALLY REALLY...REALLY! love this Griffon design! the armour is absolutely wounderful. specially the way you've clashed colours together so they stand out! :D Love the feathers! you made them look really soft ^3^

those forefeet look hard to balance on. but i love the beak, armor, and wings/feathers
